Microsoft Viva is a comprehensive employee experience platform developed specifically for Microsoft 365 customers. This platform aims to improve the working environment within Microsoft Teams through various technological services, especially in times of remote working.

Viva Connections promotes the networking of decentralised teams in order to strengthen communication in the remote working environment. An Employee Content Hub bundles messages from SharePoint, Yammer and Stream, customised for specific target groups. The introduction of Viva Connections in Microsoft Teams on desktops and smartphones is planned for 2021.

This component of Microsoft Viva, derived from „Project Cortex“, enables efficient knowledge management within the company. With the help of AI, topics are automatically recognised on the basis of content and activities. Microsoft Viva Learning

Viva Learning enables learning directly in Microsoft Teams through microlearning. Content comes from platforms such as LinkedIn Learning and Microsoft Learn, but internal and external learning resources can also be integrated.
