Which Staffbase content gets indexed?
Published news and intranet pages — title, teaser, image, publication date, editor, channel, and language. Drafts and unpublished pages stay private.
How long does setup take?
A typical setup takes a day: Microsoft 365 app registration, Staffbase API access, deployment of the Azure Functions and the first full sync. After that, the connector runs automatically.
Does it work with Microsoft Copilot?
Yes. Content that the connector feeds into the Microsoft Graph is immediately visible to Microsoft Copilot, including source links back to your Staffbase intranet.
How are permissions handled?
Users only see content they are authorized to view in Staffbase. The mapping uses the Staffbase External ID or Entra ID group membership — no duplicated roles, no shadow permissions.
Is the connector GDPR-compliant?
Yes. The Azure Functions run in the EU, only the metadata you explicitly configure is synchronized, and a Data Processing Agreement is part of the engagement.
How much does the connector cost?
The Starter package is €3,999 one-off (setup and onboarding). Enterprise packages with SLAs and advanced sync rules are quoted individually.
